On 19th April 2015, in alliance with Millat Hospital, Kawish arranged a Medical Health Check-up Camp for teachers at Millat Hospital. More than 50 teachers underwent medical checkups covering ECG, X-ray, blood tests and eye tests. Specialist doctors delivered lectures on a range of topics — ENT specialist Dr. Hashmi Sayyed spoke in detail about the functioning of vocal cords, throat and voice troubles, and how to safeguard them.
Dr. Humaira Ansari spoke at length about the listening and verbal communication challenges children face, and guided teachers through a presentation on how these issues affect children's behavioural psychology.
Dr. Rahul Khot (Orthopedic, MS) addressed the various bone ailments common among teachers, followed by a question-and-answer session and individual diagnosis. Dr. Talha, CEO of Millat Hospital, outlined the hospital's services and its charitable work, including satisfactory guidance for students pursuing paramedical courses, strong practical training systems, and job opportunities after part-time courses.
After breakfast and the lecture sessions, teachers were given a detailed walkthrough of the hospital's various departments and the chance to observe its medical equipment firsthand.
