Three citywide workshops aligning examiners and moderators across all SSC subjects — covering Urdu, English, Maths, Science and more.
For the better performance of Urdu-medium schools in SSC examinations, three meetings were arranged at three different places in Mumbai for examiners and moderators of all subjects under the Mumbai Board. At Anjuman Islam Allana High School, Kurla, the meeting covered Urdu, English, Arabic, Hindi and Marathi. Algebra, Geometry and Science were covered at Anjuman Saif Tayyabji Girls High School, Belasis Road; and History, Geography and Economics at Anjuman Islam Ishaque Jamkhanawala High School, Bandra.
Subject experts guided teachers on the difficulties students face in scoring full marks, and the common mistakes that lead to lost marks. Sessions covered the art of writing precise, well-summarised answers that attract the examiner's attention, along with effective time management during the exam.
These training workshops received full cooperation from the Headmasters' Association working with Kawish, and concluded with very encouraging results for Urdu-medium students across the city.
